About PU material (Polyurethane foam)

Even though most people probably don't realise it, every one of us encounters polyurethane foam on a regular basis. We just usually call it “foam rubber”.

You probably already know that you can sleep on foam and wrap various things in it. But other uses of this material may surprise you. Experienced homemakers know that you can plant the seeds of fast-growing plants into foam, where they will sprout. Using a piece of foam wound around a pen, for instance, you can also clean a narrow vase you can't reach into with your hand. DIY enthusiasts can wrap tool handles in foam, or put it under the car in the garage to absorb dripping oil.

For the activities mentioned, fairly small pieces of polyurethane foam are enough. We offer you much larger quantities – so large that, in times of drought and restrictions on filling swimming pools, you can line yours with foam, attach a springboard and do a triple somersault with five twists into it. And if you happen to have some foam left over – or the mayor lets you fill your pool with water after all – you can line your walls with it and fulfil your dream of having your own rock band.
